Cinco de Mayo is Spanish for "Bathe in Mayonnaise," right? [edit-oneshot]
I'm so late this month I might seem to be moving through mayo, but regardless, here it is, the updated list of things to do in the goth, industrial, and fetish dance-club scene of New England for May. This is a monthly look at our ever-changing scene with an active list of links so you can get more details.
Here's the news...
* Vermont's Termination now has an event-specific website. The link is added below.
* New Haven, Connecticut has a new weekly old school night last month called Mold School held every Sunday at Hell Niteclub. They appear to be blending a variety of goth, industrial, and ebm with other unique elements of the '80s. Link added below.
* Also in New Haven, Ulteria has cut back their schedule to Monthly. Edited below.
* I've found a number of links in the list that went dead during last month, mostly from what appears to be website reorganization. I've fixed them so you can find the info you need most directly. If you found a link dead last month, try it again now.
* It's been reported that Fetish Friday's at DTS in Lowell has ended. I've not gotten an official confirmation of that from the promoters, but the amount of research I've put in suggests that it is not currently on the DTS schedule. I've amended below that the event is currently unconfirmed until I get the official word.
And now for a look at the One-Shot events...
* Electrocution Fest highlights regional DJ's, gothic bands and "gothic karaoke?!" This day long event happens in Orange, CT on May 31 and more info can be found at this link!
As always, this is an inclusive effort and not meant to knowingly exclude anyone in the NE goth and fetish scene, so if I've missed some vital info about something specific or if something major has changed about an existing event(like broken or more appropriate links,) please be kind enough to let us know about it (but keep in mind that I will not make changes based on anonymous or unverifiable information.)
