Excess moved to a Friday night for St. Patrick's Day. We got to do what we do, the way we do... and wear green doing it! ;)
Specific to the occasion, I started my sets with a "Seven Nations" cover of Under The Milky Way, gave Miss O'Connor a nod with her cover of the traditional Irish poem I Am Stretched On Your Grave, and wrapped my set with Welshman Tom Jones's cover of Kiss. (All covers I've not yet explored on my blog, see below.) All while wearing my shiny lime-green vest! :P
Hope everyone enjoyed it! (You all certainly got the room hot enough!)
Thanks to you all! We'll see you next month for the 7 year anniversary of Excess!

If you visit my website you'll find my schedule of upcoming events, links to RSVP to them, a couple of mixes I've done, and my dark covers blog.

I've been linking any cover song on my playlist that I've featured on that dark covers blog, SeeDarkly SundayDisCoveries, for anyone who wants to learn more about them. Enjoy!
