Normally I only do this once a month, but it is Halloween season and a few late changes in the goth and fetish dance-club scene of New England make it worthwhile to do a mid-month update. The active list of links so you can get more details is below under the cuts.
So here's your mid-month update for October:
EDIT: SEEDY @ BLU in Worcester is no longer their Sunday night event. It has been replaced by a "breaks" night. Keeping up with their changes has been a bit difficult but I JUST ran across this info and hope no one drove out to be disappointed by what they found. Sorry for the inaccuracy.
* VI @ Machine WILL return as a monthly event in November. I'll return the link to the VI site in the next posting. For now its been redirected to the Bloodfeast Halloween Party site.
*Ceremony's 10th Anniversary party is moving from An Tua Nua to Lansdowne St at the Embassy for Devil's Night AND they are also open until 2am for this event. It's not far around the block, but you'll want to adjust for parking, etc.. There is no official word that this move will be permanent as of this posting.
* The Toast website is back in action, keep an eye out for Crypt and Heroes to announce specifics on their halloween events.
* The Gothic Maine crew who just began Flatline a new monthly goth/industrial night, have changed it to one Saturday each month at The Station in Portland, which is scheduled next for mid November.
* Meanwhile Gothic Maine will do an additional special Halloween night on Tuesday Oct 31 at the Lava Lounge... Details at the links below.
* Nokturnal in RI will have an event this week and another on Halloween night. No D-V-8 this month however.
* Corrosion will no longer be held at Club Hell after the 22nd and tonight appears to be their last dance night. Details are cryptic at best for now, but it would seem that they'll move to a new venue, and it isn't clear if that will happen in time for them to throw their previously mentioned Zombie Ball before Halloween.
*Many of the other unmentioned events (Haven, Shift, Twitch, Dark Intentions, etc...) are definately holding or likely to hold special Halloween parties so keep an eye on their sites for any changes and updates!
*Also keep in mind that Saturday night Oct 28 we get an extra hour on any party thrown due to Daylight Savings. Enjoy!
As always, this is an inclusive effort and not meant to knowingly exclude anyone in the NE goth and fetish scene, so if I've missed some vital info about something specific or if something major has changed about an existing event please be kind enough to let us know about it.
