The age restriction may change in the future, though not immediately.
Why is this a concern for you? I imagined you were AT LEAST 21...

Yes, I'm over 21! However, most of the people I would invite to join me are not.

A good number of my friends who I would invite and also are under 21 are affected by this as well... and I'm the promoter/DJ for the event!
I'm certainly of the mind to change this, but that is a club management decision. If we run a really successful first event, then we may have the room to negotiate a change in policy.
Right now, it stands as 21+. I hope we'll see you and whomever you can bring.

It might be of interest to the club management to know that Club Hell's similar event in Providence is 18-plus.

He is aware of that (if you mean the Wed. nights at Hell). However, some unfortunate things that happened last year have led to this current policy.
Again, it may change but don't expect it to before the end of February.
If/When it does change... I'll make the announcement.

BTW... How are you enjoying the book? I'm about 170 pages away from the end myself. Fastest I've ever read!

I haven't had a lot of time to read the book, which is disappointing.

I may underestimate my ability to persuade.
I've spoken to management about the age restriction. Here's the result.

Starting with our first event:
Ladies: 18+
Men: 21+
Valid ID's required for entrance. NO Exceptions.

This took some measure of convincing, but I hope it helps bring a few extra people.
