Tuesday night at Haven was a good time! I really enjoyed my set and it came out much better than planned considering I played at least 2 songs that I hadn't intended to play when I put the discs in the players!
Couple of cool notes from the set:
Just to check levels and have something appropriate to blend into the first track of my set I played a track from the Balanescu Quartet from their Possessed album.
The first portion of my set drew inspiration in part from the Buffy/Angel series, so a lot of the early half of the playlist was related to or directly from episodes of the show or in some way connected to Sarah Michelle Gellar by a maximum of 3 degrees of separation (also inspired in part by the movie Southland Tales which I brought for Penelope to play as one of the movies for the night.) Full set list below.
Meanwhile I head back to Haven in Northampton MA on Tuesday, June 3 from 9pm to 10pm, opening again for A2Z DJ's Addam Bomb and Znuh during Haven's latest DRAG BALL!
This DOES mean I'll be in drag, but luckily Penelope has assured me she'll help me look pretty!

Also coming up on Friday, June 13, I will be spinning Old School Night at PLAGUE from 10p-1a with DJ Pet!
A dark lady called DJ Doomsday Jones will set the spooky mood for the night from 9-10.
This is also, I hear, a sort of "pre-party" for that Saturday's Goth Fly A Kite event, which I wish I could stay in town for, but I'm committed to help Cirque du Soleil at the Pride Parade in Boston this year (but at least that promises to be very entertaining in its own right, heh!)
