HaVeN's 22nd Anniversary & Masquerade Ball was a kind of incredible reminder of how meaningful this enterprise is to the oldest of Havenite, the newest, and everyone in between. For myself, it has not been without its ups and downs, but I am ever honored to have been a part of its history for nearly 11 years (almost half its entire existence!) in my role as one of its DJs and promoters. I thank everyone involved for that opportunity and privilege.

Next month we're throwing another Industrial Pajama Party and we expect to see more progress on the renovations to Club V that you may have noticed are underway!

HaVeN's first Black Cat Ball, WHISKERS, was a really fun night! Lot of new faces and some we hadn't seen in a while. Certainly debunks any notion that "the scene is dying," which we've heard time and again for the past decade.
Speaking of the decade, in roughly two weeks I celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the first time I spun at HaVeN. Sadly, its one of very few playlists I've misplaced. I still remember how I accidentally stopped and had to restart one of the last songs in that first-hour set. Things from which you learn, right?
So at Haven's Goth 101 Back To School party on September 29, I may do something special for everyone. Keep an eye on my site for the link to the invitation and RSVP when you see it. Should be up in the next few days!
