Recap: Resurrection 2.4.10

Resurrection; February 4, 2009

This was my second time out at Resurrection and it was a great time! I met a lot of new & friendly people and got to know some friends I don't see too often just a little bit better.
And there was lots of crowded floor time too! I spun with Rabid Angel, who surprised me with a number of tracks I truly enjoyed and we both played some goofy stuff that was just fun. (Like playing the King Of Town at the top of my second set after he played the Strongbad/Rammstein Du Hast mashup to close his; gotta love Homestar!)
On the technical side of things, he has brought in an improved set of cd decks so that made for much cleaner transitions than the last time I was there (in July '09.)
I got a bunch of very kind compliments and encouraging feedback and I'm quite grateful everyone seemed to have a fun night!
Regrettably, I couldn't stick around to do the after-club gathering at Denny's. Hopefully I can next time if I don't have early work the next day. Though it could be another 6 months before I'm out there again since Res is booked through June. But it really doesn't matter when it happens next, I'm definitely looking forward to it!. :)
