New England Scene Darkly provides an active list of links so you can get more information on where you can go dancing in clubs or events that play music relative to our mutual interests.
Sometime in 2013 (quite probably by September,) we at SeeDarkly will make a couple of substantial changes to the way we provide NESD and we will be redesigning the SeeDarkly.com website to reflect some new objectives in both promotions & publication. Some changes have already been made. More are coming. More details soon.
For some, this is just a reminder of when their favorites happen or that our scene is quite active. For others, it's a fresh look at things to do they may not have been aware of. No matter which you are, please get out and support our scene to keep it alive and enjoyable for everyone involved!

Here's the News...
- Today is Goth Fly A Kite Day in New England, with points in both Maine and RI to participate. This was mentioned in the news last month in preparation of it being on the 1st of this month (when this update would be posted) so hopefully you had enough forewarning. The links to their after-parties are posted on the calendar so click through for details.
- The partners presenting Temple at Underbar have parted ways. Those partners who are also promoters for Excess continue at the venue on the fourth Wednesday monthly with a new event called Allure. It started at the end of last month and presents similar goth-centric down-tempo stylings as those previously offered. The calendar and the listing below have been updated with new links. There is still no official word on where Temple is expected to return or if it will incorporate goth music as part of its event. Should it be the case that they do on their return, we'll update accordingly.
- Jaded returns in partnership with Xmortis for a third annual Floating Fetish Ball on the Freedom Cruise Ship behind Boston Harbor Hotel on June 7. Tickets and details are available at this link and the code "HOOK" gets you a $5 discount.
There is a meet and greet pre-party to give you a place to hang out before at The Littlest Bar on 102 Broad Street in Boston. Those who come early will be escorted from the bar to the boat in time for the launch. Details and RSVP on Facebook at this link.
- Resurrection in Manchester, NH, is moving to a new venue and will now be found at Doogie's starting this month. The calendar and their listing below have been updated with the new information.
I believe that is all I have for news this month. If I hear of any other new events or one-shots that fit the criteria, they'll go directly on the calendar where I try to update the schedule as often as I'm aware of changes or additions.
If I've missed some vital info about something new or if something major has changed about an existing event (like broken or more appropriate links,) please be kind enough to let me know about it and I will verify and make additions or corrections as needed. Thank you. (Also please note that I can only include those events that fit the parameters of these listings and have a link for people to find more info.
