Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Fourth Annual Timey Wimey Dance at Arisia '19!
This marks 4 Years of Timey Wimey, but also 5 Years of Dirge and I spinning exclusively shoulder-to-shoulder and 6 years of DJing the con in total! It's been one amazing experience!

We intended this Timey Wimey Dance and Excelsior to act as fundraisers for the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center.
Dirge and I felt it was important to help is some way beyond just volunteering as entertainment given all the issues the arose within the convention that led to its change in leadership and the dramatic rise in voting membership. This seemed like the way we might help best and give many in the community who could not take the time to join the board an opportunity to participate in an important element of keeping Arisia and all our friends safe.

As of this posting we raised $225 of our arbitrary $1000 goal with 5 donations from attendees other than ourselves. We know the con itself is distracting and busy, but hope those who took part will take a moment now to be generous to give a little something to the cause. BARCC's mission is to end sexual violence and they actively provide educational and preventative training to Arisia, Inc. staff and attendees.

It is always such an honor and privilege to throw these parties, though this time was special in ways far greater for me than ever before. I'm so grateful to you all for more reasons than I can express, more than you'll ever really know!

In addition to the Friday night party, Arisia '17 invited Dirge & I to do a sequel to last years full-on retro party on Saturday night!
We called it "Timey Wimey Dance II: Back To The Timey Wimey!"
I wore my "MAKE BELIEVE NOT WAR" shirt done in the style of shirt popularized in the 80's by WHAM!, which was my tribute to George Michael.
I'm sure I looked every bit the idiot as I did last year from watching everyone dancing and having so much fun while I got to play even more of the great music from the first 30 years of my life, including songs relevant to that recent "10 albums that shaped your teens" meme!

I'm once again so grateful to all who came and enjoyed the party and as always thank Arisia for allowing me to be part of your experience! Also big thanks to my booth-partner DJ Dirge, without whom I may not have been involved in these amazing events! Hopefully we'll be back next year! Be sure to tell them we did a good job for you!
