Recap: Haven 1.26.10 (BLOODLUST)

HAVEN - BLOODLUST; January 26, 2010

So this was my first Haven of the year and it was fantastic!

My sets felt pretty good over all. Not 100% mind you, but I'll be surprised if I ever feel that way. I got to play a few things I've either had a long time and never used or just got and used for the first time.

I was also a bit surprised that after the contest very few wanted to stay on the floor to finish out the Bauhaus' Bela Lugosi's Dead track that we were using as background music for the costume contest... even after 2 people ran to the booth during the contest to ask for us to keep it on! I mean... it was a vampire ball after all! hee hee

My second set was a little short, but a lot of fun!

I also enjoyed a good conversation with a couple of other DJs I don't often get to chat with.

I'll be back at Haven to spin the Mardi Gras party on Tuesday, February 16! I'll be joining DJs Dirge & Damian Plague!
