HaVeN's Fairy Flurry was a bunch of fun and our first reveal that RENOVATIONS ARE COMING TO WHAT IS BEING REFERRED TO NOW AS "CLUB V!"
That includes decor, design, and sound! There's a long list of things they are looking to do and it seems they have really taken an interest in making it a local center for supporting alternative subcultures. The entire prospect is exciting!
Expect some of said renovations to be ready in time for HaVeN's 22ND ANNIVERSARY next month!
I'll remind you, I have only been with HaVeN for nearly half that time as a part of its history, like many who have come or gone, and it continues to be an honor to serve its community in my role as DJ & promoter.

Honestly can't remember how I found it.
When was the last time she was at Arisia?

2010 was the year she was GOH! That's the only time she's been there; she generally doesn't do cons unless she's brought in to perform and she travels a lot less these days.

Have you heard the album she did for this indie film Ember Days? It's "SJ going to her Nine Inch Nails place" (her description)

Far too few people know her music. Everyone's lives could be so much better!

Yeah... Shangri-la is still the strongest track from it.
I had to have found her in 2009 when she put out the Palimpsest. I remember the concept was really intriguing...

Quartered: Songs From Palimpsest is great but, imnsho far from the best thing she's done. Though I don't know how you feel about folk and blues. Most of her work isn't electronic at all.

There's gonna be a bunch of new stuff this year; a while back she offered a download package of 50+ demos and some of those will be getting final recordings soon. *happy dance*
